Alley & John's Engagement Session


Some love stories are straight out of a movie, and Alley & John's engagement is exactly that. Picture this: a massive music festival in Uptown Charlotte, thousands of fans singing along under the night sky, and in the middle of it all—John getting down on one knee on stage during a Post Malone concert.


I was there in the crowd that night, completely unaware that I’d soon be part of their story. I snapped a quick (and very distant) photo of the proposal and posted it on TikTok, hoping to track them down and offer an engagement session. And somehow, against all odds—I DID.

Fast forward to their engagement session, and it felt like everything had come full circle. From a moment shared with thousands to an intimate session where I got to capture their love in a way that felt personal and true to them. This is why I do what I do—to preserve the big moments, the unexpected ones, and the ones that will be told and retold for generations.
